France wins Nations’ Cup and Women’s Trophy. Portugal is 6th overall Spain wins Junior’s Trophy as Portugal is also 6th

As the year before, French squad was the overall winner of the 84th edition of the FIM International Six Days Enduro witch took place in Figueira da Foz and Águeda from October 12th to 17th. The intense competition saw 24 nations competing for six enduring days, with 428 entries and 377 bikers making it to the end. As Italy tried a last minute surprise at the MX racetrack in Águeda on the last day, French Team leader Christophe Nambontin (Gas Gas) held on to first place even if only five bikers remain to stop Italy to get into the lead. Finland came third.

Fight for the title until de very end. Who will it be, France or Italy? Portugal climbs to 5th overall as Águeda will reveal all decisions

Who would have thought that the 84th edition of the FIM International Six Days Enduro would be that tight? 35 stages later and five days of stunning performances, France and Italy have yet do decided who will be crowned this Saturday. Tomorrow’s motocross final event – with live coverage (RTP2, from 14.00pm) – will definitely set things straight for this year’s edition.

French leadership still strong Italy is on the look out as Finland falls into sixth!

Fourth day of the 84th FIM International Six Days Enduro and one thing seems sure: Christophe Nambontin (Gas Gas) really is keeping it together as the Frenchman holds on to his overnight leadership and helps France as they attempt a second ISDE win in a row. Although today the current leader only won on stage, truth is that French Team is beginning to really set the pace, as Antoine Meo (Husqvarna) and Rodrigh Thain (TM) also won stages, Thain doing it twice.

France ahead and Correia climbs into 6th

After positives day 1 and 2 of the FIM International Six Days Enduro, having been in the lead and then falling into third overall, Christophe Nambontin (Gas Gas) is back in first place, closing the day with a 44,6s advantage over fellowman Antoine Meo (Husqvarna). They both managed to trade places with Finnish duo and KTM bikers Samuli Aro and Eero Remes.

Finland vs. France for the lead

Day 2 of the FIM International Six Days Enduro and second leader overall in sunny Figueira da Foz. France, Finland and Italy didn’t loose time setting the pace in this year’s edition as the bikers are giving local fans a run for their money.

Strong start by France

2009 Maxxis International Six Days Enduro started this morning in Figueira da Foz as 427 bikers went on for the first of seven stages of the day at 8 am, for up to 30 kilometres. With Enduro and Cross testes as well as a Super Special Stage in the sand right in front of the competitor’s paddock, France, Finland and Italy lost no time reminding everyone they are the contenders to watch for.
